 Navratri, Navadurga is a nine-day festival, all nine days dedicated to various types of Mata Adi Shakti. These nine forms of Devi, the Navagraas rule and the associated obstacles, are also worshiped to overcome them. Navaratri is celebrated twice a year known as Chaitra Navaratri and Shardiya Navaratri.


Shailputri is the first of nine deities of the goddess Durga to be worshiped during the nine days of the Navratri festival. Each day of the festival is dedicated to one type of Durga and the first day is dedicated to Maa Shailputri.


Mata spent 1000 years in this form eating fruit and flowers, and spent another 100 years eating leafy vegetables while lying on the ground. When Mata served Bhagwan Shiv, he fed bilva leaves for only 3000 years. To make his penance more difficult, Mata also stopped eating Bilva Patra and continued his exploration without food and water, this form of Mata was known as Aparna.


Chandraghanta Mata is worshiped on the third day of Navratri. Her name means: 'Chandra' - Moon, 'Ghanta' - hanging like a bell. When Goddess Parvati adorned her forehead with the Moon, she got the name. He is also known as Chandrakhanda. This form of the Goddess gives courage and strength to worshipers. It also removes problems related to normal. The goddess Chandraghanta is a fierce form of Parvati. However, his anger can only be seen if he is upset; otherwise, he is very calm.


Mata Kushmanda has the power and energy to live within the Sun. His body shines like the sun. This avatar of Mata-kushmanda is also known as "Ashtabhuja Devi". He also loves Bali the white pumpkin known as Kushmanda.


Maa Skandmata has four arms and rides a lion. Her two arms hold a lotus, 1 arm carries baby Kartikeya, and the other sits in Abhaya Mudra. Sitting on a lotus, Goddess Padmasana is another name for her. She is a goddess who can bless her devotees with power and prosperity. Also, he can bless his worshiper with great wisdom and salvation. She is also regarded as the goddess of fire. As an example of motherly love in this form, devotees were blessed with her great love.


Mata Parvati took the role of Devi Katyayani to kill the demon Mahishasura. It is Devi Parvati's most violent approach, in this form Devi Parvati is also known as Devi hero. According to religious texts, Devi Parvati was born in the house of the scholar Katyya and as a result this form of Devi Parvati is known as Katyayani.


Kalratri Mata is worshiped on the seventh day of Navratri. He is considered a violent type of Maa Parvati. His name means: 'Kaal' - time / death & 'Ratri' - night. According to his name, he is considered a destroyer of darkness.


According to Hindu history, Mata Shailputri was extremely beautiful at the age of sixteen. Mata Mahagauri is compared to the white flower of the nail, the moon and the color because of its extremely sharp color. He is known as Mata Mahagauri because of his gaur (white) aura.


Siddhidatri Mata is worshiped on the ninth day of Navratri. His words mean: Siddhi - spiritual power & 'Datri' - donor. The goddess is known for taking away ignorance and giving knowledge so that she can recognize the eternal power, which is at work in the universe.
